Parishioners expressed their special Happy Birthday wishes to Fay Goglia who celebrated her 100th Birthday. We shared a special cake on Sunday, September 18th.

Living 100 years is a gift from above. To be able to walk, talk and smile and celebrate her 100th Birthday is an extraordinary gift from God. Fay is a special, positive and happy person.

New Year’s Eve Celebration

We will hold a New Year’s eve Celebration on Tuesday, December 31st from 8pm until 1am with DJ Music.

The buffet dinner will be catered by Francesco’s and includes: bread and butter, tossed salad, assorted cold antipasti, penne with Vodka sauce, chicken Marsala, grilled salmon, pierogi, stuffed cabbage, mixed vegetables, roasted potatoes, seasoned rice, coffee, assorted beverages and desserts. Champaign toast is included. (BYOB)

Tickets are $65/per person (Semiformal attire preferred.) Table reservations available for 8. There is limited seating, please reserve your tickets early by calling 201-247-4832 or 973-256-4888. The deadline for tickets is Sunday, December 22nd.

Sophie’s 100th Birthday

Our parishioner, Sophie Barnes, celebrated her 100th birthday with her family and friends on Sunday April 7th. Her date off birth was April 10m 1919.

Sophie remembers the time when the first Holy Cross Church was built in Paterson 93 years ago. She was a member of the parish choir for many years. We are grateful for her dedication to the church throughout the years. Having Sophie and her family celebrate her 100th Birthday with the parish will be fondly remembered. Wishing her God’s blessing of good health and happiness for many years. Sto Lat! Sto Lat! (100 (more) years! 100 (more) years!)
